Michael "Mike" Charles Bell, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away on December 30, 2025, in Norman, at the age of 59. He was born on December 5, 1966, in Pryor, Oklahoma, to Dale Edgar Bell and Marilyn Lea (Lindsay) Bell.

Mike married the love of his life, Julie, on November 9, 1991, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Together they shared 34 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and devotion to family.

Mike graduated from Pauls Valley High School in 1985. He went on to earn a degree in Agricultural Economics from Oklahoma State University in 1990, followed by his Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa in 1993. After completing his education, Mike lived in Tulsa and Jenks, Oklahoma, before settling in Norman in 1999, where he built both his career and his home.

For 32 years, Mike was a successful and respected attorney, dedicating his professional life to helping others. He practiced in the areas of workers' compensation, Social Security disability, and personal injury law. He was the owner of Michael C. Bell Law Firm in Norman and served as Chairman of the Multiple Injury Trust Fund Board. Mike was an active member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, American Bar Association, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, Chickasaw National Bar Association, and NOSSCR (National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives).

Outside of his career, Mike found his greatest joy in his family and the outdoors. He loved snow skiing, scuba diving, traveling, hiking, fishing, hunting, and spending time outside. He was deeply involved in his sons' lives, proudly serving as a scout leader, Little League baseball coach, and president of the high school baseball booster club. Mike cherished watching Garrett and Aidan participate in sports, attending college sporting events, concerts, and experiencing new places together. Some of his favorite moments were spent hiking, fishing, and sitting around the campfire in Pagosa Springs, where his parents have a summer home.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Julie, of the home; his children, Garrett Bell of Virginia, and Aidan Bell and his fiancée, Kenady Humphers, of Norman, Oklahoma; his parents, Dale and Marilyn Bell of Pauls Valley; his brother, Shawn Bell, and his spouse, Senia Bell, of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and their children, Lane Bell and Averyl Bell; aunt, Lindsay Smith and uncle Jim Smith of Aspen, Colorado; along with a multitude of extended family members and friends.

Mike will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of Mike's life will be held at a later date.
