Michael Kent Kramer, 66, Greenleaf, died December 15, 2025 at the Washington County Hospital in Washington.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 p.m, on January 3, 2026, at the American Legion Post 235 in Greenleaf.
On April 18, 1959, Mike was born to Donald and Sandra (Lindsey) Kramer in Washington. He was a 1977 graduate of Linn High School. Mike worked as a welder, starting out at Hutchison Mayrath in Clay Center, then Trailman Trailer Manufacturing in Waterville and Titan West in Linn.
In 1990, he married Stacy Phelps at the Washington Christian Church and to this union three daughters were born, Bryana, Megan and Kari. They later divorced.
Mike enjoyed floating down the river, kayaking, where he would tie his duck decoys behind the kayak, his favorite being Melvin the Duck. He liked riding 4 wheelers, dirt bikes, hunting, fireworks, backroad cruising, Therapy Thursday’s and the 3 F’s. He was a member of the SAL.
Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Doug Kramer; and an infant sister, Cynthia Kramer.
Survivors include his daughters, Bryana (Justin) Zimmerschied and children, Thomas, Tayton and Taizlynn of Bern, Megan (Tyler) Sutton and children, Wayson, Wrigsley and Wakely of Wamego and Kari (Jakob DeMars) Kramer and children, Haddie and Holten of Glen Elder; brother Tim (Shay Nelson) Kramer, Washington; sister Mary Beth (Mose) Allen, Manhattan; sister-in-law, Diane Kramer, Belleville; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial fund is established in his name to be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of Ward Funeral Home, PO Box 157, Washington, KS.
