Michael Steven Lappin, 53, went into the loving arms of Jesus on Sept. 21, 2025. We are comforted to know that he is now alive, joyful and healed in Heaven.

Born to Paul and Melinda Lappin, Michael grew up in Princeton, IL., and had many stories of those glory days with his life-long friends.

Michael put God and family first and wove his faith into his work in the insurance industry. He led with positivity, humble strength and humor. He enjoyed the challenges, built relationships and loved the people who became his work family.

Michael refused to let his three-year battle with cancer define him. He was confident that Jesus was walking the path with him and lived a life of gratitude, framed by a "Get To" mindset. He believed every day was a gift from God.

People knew him as strong, faithful and courageous, and that this is not goodbye, but 'see you later'. His belief in Jesus assured him eternity in Heaven. "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him." 1 Corinthians 2:9.

Michael treasured his wife, Chelsea and their sons Ezra and Sam, as well as his brother Rick and his father-and mother-in-law, Steven and Carole Curtis. He will also be sorely missed by many other family members and friends.

Family and friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home in De Pere on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025 from 11am until 2pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials in Mike's name to Samaritan's Purse.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7.
