Catawba, South Carolina - Mr. Mike "Big Cat" Leopard, 60, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 12 noon at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 10:30-11:45 at the funeral home.
Mike was a native of Rock Hill, SC and the son of Judy Ann Leopard and the late Donald Jerry Leopard. He was a graduate of Northwestern High School and York Technical College. Mike was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. He was the owner of "Rutn N Strutn Hunting Lodge" in Chesterfield County and appeared on numerous television shows. He was a member of the Quality Deer Management Association (QDMA) and the National Rifle Association (NRA). He also was the owner of Tuckered Out Landscaping. Mike was a wonderful father, and always enjoyed coaching his son's football and baseball teams. He had a great love for his family and he adored his wife who he always called "my love." In addition to being a loving husband, father and son, Mike was a great friend to many.
Mike is survived by his wife of 13 years, Tammy Leopard; his sons, Josh M. Leopard (Jennifer) of Rock Hill and Eric Dean Leopard of Union; his mother, Judy Ann Leopard; his grandson, Aiden J. Leopard; sister, Anita Leopard; nephew, Brandon Moseley and niece, Haley Moseley both of Rock Hill. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Dean Leopard.
