I have many memories, as I had worked for Mike for 20 years. The most prominent thing I will always have with me is he taught me how to deal with customers and fellow employees. I didn't even know I was being taught that until we departed ways. Mike was very generous with me and others. I love you Shirley, Patrick, Caryn, and girls!

One of my earliest memories of Mike was when he hired me to wash cars at McGarrity Chevrolet. I had just spent over a decade incarcerated and this was my first job out of prison. A few days in Mike calls me to his office. I had no idea what to expect because I didn't know him. He asked how I was and how I was adjusting. He let me know that he was there for me if I ever needed anything. He said he wanted me to be successful wherever I went and then gave me $100 bill and wished me well in life! But what I will miss the most is how Mike made me feel. He didn't just see me as his son, he treated me as if I was really his son. I will never forget his kindness and I will miss him dearly.
