Mike Metcalf Obituary

He grew up in Quinault, Washington and was a good football player at Lake Quinault High School, which he graduated from in 1991. In 1992, Mike moved to Lewistown, Montana.
Mike made a living cutting firewood and selling it, and truly enjoyed his work. He could be seen often at Country Corner, filling up his rig for a long day in the mountains wherever he was cutting.
He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. When hunting season came around, he truly found himself in his element. Mike was passionate about providing for his family and took advantage of the beautiful state he called home.
Few people in this life are lucky enough to pass away doing what they love; as this tragedy passes, the family wants people to know that Mike left us doing what he loved.
Mike is preceded in death by his mother, Karen Mohr; brother, Robert "Toper" Metcalf, and sister, Becky Metcalf.
He is survived by his partner, Rhoda Mills; father, Dennis Michael Metcalf, Sr., children, Josh Mills, Autumn Metcalf, Austin Metcalf, and Jade Metcalf; grandchildren, Rosalie Metcalf and Axel Metcalf; brother, Dan Metcalf; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer of 2024. Mike's family and friends can share memories and condolences at www.creelfuneralhome.com
