Mike Migliore

COOKEVILLE CHAPEL - Mike Migliore, a beloved husband, father, brother, and cherished member of the Cookeville community, passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on April 4, 1946, in Cookeville, TN, Thurman dedicated his life to both family and service to others.

Mike began his career working alongside his father, Martin Migliore Sr., at the Carthage Shirt Factory. He later embarked on a successful journey in the restaurant industry, serving his community with pride at Bobby Q's Restaurant for an impressive 37 years. His unwavering commitment to his work and the people he served has left a lasting impact on many.

An alumnus of Putnam County Schools, Mike completed his education at Cookeville High School before earning his Bachelor’s degree from Baylor School in Chattanooga and Tennessee Tech University. At Tennessee Tech, he became a founding member of Alpha Tau Omega, fostering lifelong friendships that continued to enrich his life.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mike was a man of faith, following Jesus Christ and being an active member of Life Church in Cookeville. His faith guided his life and influenced many around him.

Mike was not only dedicated to his work but also engaged enthusiastically in life outside of it. He was an avid golfer and an accomplished guitar player, showcasing his passion for both music and sports. His love for cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles reflects his adventurous spirit, while his fondness for watching football and cooking barbecue brought joy and gatherings to family and friends.

Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Tao "Jane" Yang; his sons, Spence Migliore and Chase Migliore; his daughter, Allison Migliore; his step-daughter, Annabelle Short and her husband Kevin; his brother, Martin Migliore, Jr.; and his grandsons, Charles Michael Migliore, Jr., and Gavin Matthew Migliore He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Reba Pauline Bullington Migliore.

Funeral Services for Mr. Migliore will be held at 3 PM, Wednesday , July 2, 2025 from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper, Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.

Mike Migliore will be remembered fondly for his kindness, dedication to family and community, and his vibrant personality that touched the hearts of many. His legacy of love and service lives on in all who were fortunate enough to know him.
