James Michael “Mike” Plumley, 64, of Thomasville, passed away Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Hospice Home of High Point.
He was born February 8, 1961, in Logan County, West Virginia, to the late James Harold Plumley and the late Naomi Jean Marcum Plumley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ann Lamb.
Mike served in the US Air Force and was honorably discharged with the rank of Staff Sergeant. Following his military time, his love for airplanes continued as he became an aircraft mechanic. Mike and his wife are members of Pilot View Baptist church in Thomasville.
Left to cherish his memory; his beloved wife, Donna Clark Plumley of the home; sons, Jeremy Plumley of Trinity, and Justin Plumley and wife Danielle of Thomasville; grandchildren, Caleb, Benjamin, Abigail, Alexis, Paisley, Daxton, and Lincoln; brothers, Jackson Plumley and wife Margaret, and Allen Plumley and wife Tammy.
Funeral Service will be 2:00PM Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point chapel, with David Beard officiating.
Burial will follow in the Holly Hill Memorial Park cemetery.
The family will receive friends 1:00-1:45PM Thursday prior to the service.
