Mike was born on February 15, 1956 and passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2016. Mike was a resident of Greenwood, South Carolina at the time of his passing. He was married to Connie Rachels Schultz. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Alvin Hodges and the Rev. Ken Lister officiating. Burial will be in Oakbrook Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Dr. Bill Warner, Billy Wilson, Mark Garber, Frank Workman, Dusty Strickland and Jimmy Palmer. Honorary escorts will be Dr. Matt Bachinski, Dr. Jeff Lanford, Dr. Joanna Sadurski, Dr. Edward Rapp, Tommy Butler and Leon Jacobs. A very special heartfelt thank you to Dr. Joanna Sadurski and the nurses at The Cancer Center. The nurses and doctors on the 7th Tower at Self were so kind and compassionate to Mike. A very special thank you to Bill and Kristie Warner and to Johnette Austin, who without their help, we would not have made it through this difficult time. Our greatest appreciation to our friends for their support during his illness.
