Mike "Sally" Settlemoir

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mike "Sally" Settlemoir, aged 71, who left this world on March 15, 2026. Born on September 22, 1954, Mike was a cherished grandfather and friend, known for his warm spirit and heartwarming stories.

Mike was not just an avid pool player; he was a formidable competitor who could beat anyone at cards, always with a twinkle in his eye and a friendly smile. His love for spending time with his grandson was unmatched, and those moments brought him immense joy. He enjoyed a good Crown and Coke, and his laughter could light up any room, especially when he shared tales from his life and experiences with friends.

Mike was also a veteran with a deep love for his country, evident from his service in the Army National Guard.

He is survived by his significant other, Jackie Coleman, his grandson, Declan Coleman, his loving sons, Janssen Settlemoir and Tyler (Chelsy) Coleman, his beloved daughter, Micah Settlemoir, his step-son, Shawn Dowdy, his brother-in-laws, Wayne (Dorothy) Cook, Kenny Cook, and Birdie Cook, and sister-in-law Joyce Roberts, and his nieces and nephews; Donnie Scott Settlemoir, Jeremy Settlemoir, Brandon Settlemoir, Taylor Settlemoir, Eric Settlemoir, Brooke Jennings and Brittney Settlemoir. Though he has left us, the memories of his vibrant spirit and laughter will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Leona Settlemoir; his brothers, Donnie Ray Settlemoir, Mark Settlemoir, and Gary Settlemoir; and his sister, Carletta Settlemoir.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 5 PM until 7 PM, at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould. Friends and family are invited to gather to honor his life and share their cherished memories. Burial will be private at Woods Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Heath Funeral Home. In this time of sorrow, let us come together to remember Mike-not only as a man who loved a good game of pool and cards but as a beloved storyteller and friend who touched the lives of so many. May he rest in peace.
