Mike "Bubba" Stevens, 73 of Centerville passed away, Sunday August 10, 2025 at his home.

Mike was born in Centerville and received his education from Centerville High School, graduating in 1970. Mike was united in marriage to Janet Pace on September 1, 1979 in Moulton.

Mike was employed by Rathbun Rural Water for over 40 years. In his spare time, Mike enjoyed working at RRWA, hunting, fishing and time spent with his family. He also loved his dogs, camping and attending his grandkids ball games.

Survivors include his children, Stacy Arnold (Scott), Heath Stevens; grandchildren, Dylan Oehler (Landry), Cameron Oehler (Lizzy), Aubrey Hesler, Harper Hesler; great grandchildren, Theodore Oehler, Winifred Oehler; son-in-law, John Hesler; and numerous extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Geneva "Tootsie"; wife, Janet Stevens; daughter, Devon Hesler; brother, John Fry; grandparents, Elmer & Ada Stevens; and his in-laws, Winston & Lorene Pace.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Thomas Funeral Home with Larry Bettis officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Haines Cemetery. Visitation will be all day Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Thomas Funeral Home with family present from 5-7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to Furever Friends Rescue of Appanoose, Inc. and may be mailed to Thomas Funeral Home, ATTN: Stevens Family, 501 North 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
