Mikell Roscoe Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by John Everett & Sons Funeral Home at Natick Common on Dec. 12, 2025.
Mikell (Mike) Ann Roscoe (nee Mohr) was born in the winter of 1936 in Salamanca, New York. Mike was one of five siblingsâ€"two sisters Pat and Bill and two brothers, Bud and Tomâ€"who remained close throughout their lives.

Shortly after high school Mike married Art Roscoe, who joined the Air Force and thus began a peripatetic life. Her five children were born in four different states: Stephany in Arizona, Dana and Karl in Delaware, Craig in Colorado and Heidi in Texas. A posting to West Germany allowed Mike to travel with the family extensively throughout Europe and left Mike with a lifelong fondness for brA¶tchen and German cars.

Returning to the US and finding herself single and with the children mostly grown, Mike forged a new, fiercely independent chapter of her life. She found a job that she loved at the Digital Equipment Corporation. The job was a good fit, she made many lifelong friends, and she worked there until her retirement.

After years of caring for a large family and tired of shoveling snow, Mike decided to retire to North Carolina. After a stint in Roanoke Rapids, she found her forever home in Wilmington. In that house she pursued her interest in gardening, transforming her yard into a lush landscape. She was an avid reader, and an excellent seamstress, creating holiday gifts and outfits for her children and grandchildren that are cherished to this day.

Mike passed away peacefully on the 8th of December 2025. In addition to her children Mike leaves behind ten grandchildren: Nickolas and Elzbette Curtiss; Jacob and Nora Roscoe; Katy and Megan Roscoe; Paige and Jack Roscoe; Connor and Kyle Shea. She was well loved and will be missed by the many people she touched.

Services will be private.
