Mikey Dyal, age 60, of Baxley passed away Friday, March 14, 2025 at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross.

Mikey was born August 27, 1964 in Appling County to the late Jessie Floyd Dyal and the late Shirley Duncan Taylor and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Mikey was a compassionate and humorous soul, known for his love of classic cars, running beagles, and being a big kid at heart. Over the years he has been known as a dedicated, hard worker through his business, Mikey Dyal Concrete, but he has been so much more to his generations of nieces, nephews, and grandchildren, especially Bentley. He had a special love for drag racing, collecting classic cars, being a member of Slums Automotive Car Club, and attending car shows. He will be truly loved and missed.

Survivors include his daughter, Caitlin Hersey of Baxley; sisters, Sherry Stone of Baxley and Gail (Rusty) Barnes of Jesup; brother, Jerome (Debbie) Dyal of Baxley; two grandchildren, Bentley Lloyd & Brielle Hersey; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 17, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Joey Chancey and Rev. Bryan Gill officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dyal Cemetery.

Active pallbearers are Talan Shipes, Bryar Shipes, Zack Murray, Carl Moore, Jay Moore and Steven Dyal.

Honorary pallbearers are all friends, Slums Automotive Car Club, and employees of Mikey Dyal Concrete.

The visitation will be on Sunday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Swain Funeral Home.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
