Mildred Anderson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Johnson's Funeral Home - Georgetown on Dec. 2, 2025.
Mildred "Millie" I. Anderson was a beloved great grandmother, grandmother, mother, and wife during her incredible 74 years of life. She passed away peacefully in the early hours of Sunday, December 1, 2025, and went home to her Lord and savior Jesus Christ.

Millie had a long and full life. She was born on November 9, 1951, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to two loving parents, Robert and Inis Smith. Her father Robert served in the US Army during World War 2 and later worked in many skilled trades and her mother was a homemaker. Millie had seven older siblings, Pat, Walt, Frankie, Ginger, Martha, Betty, and Charlie. Millie grew up in Sacramento with friends and family.

After moving to L.A. County in Southern California, Millie age 16, met Robert "Bob" Anderson, age 19, a US Navy sailor, when friends Robert and Sandy introduced the two. Bob and Millie married on August 31, 1968, and this year celebrated their 57-year wedding anniversary. They had three children, Lisa Marie (Brock), Robert Ray Anderson III, and Bobbie Jean (Brock). Nine grandchildren, Brittany Brock (Mullett), Cynthia Brock (Gribble), Madilyn Anderson (Lorns), Madison Anderson, Chase Brock, Hunter Brock, Kyra Brock, William, and Derek Anderson. Twelve great grandchildren, Bradley, Jaci, Kate, Owen, Colton, John, Harper, Dallas, Jane, Brock, Lane, and Brooklyn. Millie was predeceased by her parents and six of her siblings.

Millie loved reading, crocheting, crossword puzzles, animals, and Hallmark movies. She was always making others laugh and loved spending time with Bob, her kids and grandkids who will sadly miss her.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to local church organizations. Services will be private.
