Mildred Braxton

Mildred Braxton, 75, departed this life on January 4, 2026 in Bethlehem, PA. Mildred was born to the late Hilliard and Eva Gee on February 6, 1950, in Brunswick County, VA. During her early years, she met the love of her life, Ernie Braxton Sr., and they eventually married in 1969. Through this union, they created two beautiful children, Ernie Jr. and Tisha. They resided in Plainfield, NJ for many years. Mildred worked as a lab technician for LA Dreyfus Co. for many years until she retired.
Mildred showed her affection and love for her family openly. She was very compassionate, sweet and loving, but she could definitely be feisty at times!! She loved doing outside housework and babysitting her great-grandchildren. She enjoyed selling Avon and was known as the "Avon Lady". She also loved her '65 Chevy Chevelle hot rod car that she would speed around town in. She enjoyed watching movies and football with her daughter. She also loved shopping and fashion. Most of all, she loved her family with all her heart. She was definitely the most sweetest soul anyone could ever meet.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Hilliard and Eva Gee; her husband, Ernie Braxton Sr.; and her brother, Hilliard Gee Jr.
Left to cherish her memories: her son, Ernie Braxton Jr. (Vicki), her daughter, Tisha Braxton; her other daughter who she raised from a baby, Ciara Rice; granddaughter, Jazmin Elder (Jaren Sr.); great-grandchildren, Jada, Jaren Jr. Jhené and Jerzy; sister-in-law, Karen Gee; nieces, Tia Glover (Zachary) and Randi Gee; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
