Mildred (Millie) Bryant walked into the arms of Jesus on October 20th, 2025. After a cancer diagnosis, Millie's family and friends never left her side. Her home was filled with the sounds of laughter, children playing and giggling, and stories being told by those she dedicated her life to. Millie always gave us 100%. Her sacrifices, her grit, her stubborn determination and her love for us were undeniable. Millie's home was always open to anyone. All were welcome and those who entered left fed and loved. She made countless meals, cookies, clothes and quilts. She donated to those in need and always rooted for the underdog.
Millie was a beloved member of Evansville Baptist Church. She faithfully attended and counted tithes even up to her very last days. Pastor John and Eleanor Thomason became two of her most cherished friends. She dearly loved her church family.
Millie's hands were never idle, and ‘lazy’ wasn't in her vocabulary. She sewed, cooked, baked and kept a warm and loving home. She was an avid reader and enjoyed word finds.
Millie was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Bryant. Her sons, Steven Bryant and Larry Bryant, and one grandson, J.D.
She is survived by her loving children Sandy Bryant and Tim (Cierra) Bryant. Her grandchildren Dave (Crystal) Bryant, Alisha (Chris) Slaton, A.J. (Lyndsay) LaPointe, Dustin (Tina) Bryant, Gauge Bryant, Russell Jones, Conner Jones and James. Great-grandchildren Arthur, Ashlynn, Pauline, Ashton, Trent, Keifer, Katarina, Ethan, Elsie, Benjamin, Luke, Brayden, Tanner, Chloe, Amelia and Oliver.
Pall Bearers will be Gauge, Dave, Dustin, Ashton, A.J, Braydon, Conner and Alisha.
