Mildred Cantrell Obituary
A native of Greenville County, South Carolina, daughter of the late William Leland and Murphy Jane Holloway Saxon, she was a retired administrative assistant for United Carolina Bank and a member of Lee Road Baptist Church.
Surviving are her children, Linda Gail Cunningham (Dan) of Taylors, South Carolina, S. John Cantrell, Jr. (Susan) of Pilot Mountain, North Carolina, Michael James Cantrell (Deborah) of Taylors, South Carolina, and Marilyn Janice Myers (Ed) of Lake Marion, South Carolina; one brother, Randolph Jewell Saxon (Lois) of Taylors, South Carolina; eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Mrs. Cantrell was predeceased by two brothers, Leland Baron Saxon and Billy James Saxon.
A graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Hillcrest Memory Gardens conducted by Rev. Eddie Saxon.
Visitation will be held 1:00-2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2024, at The Wood Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Interim Hospice, 100 Verdae Blvd, Greenville, South Carolina 29607.
