She leaves behind many beloved in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Millie was an active member of the Eastern Connecticut State University (formerly Willimantic State Teachers College) Alumni Association and in 1998 celebrated her 50 Year Jubilee Reunion with her longtime friends.
Millie was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church of Vernon for over 40 years. In their retirement years, she and Jack volunteered thousands of hours at Rockville Hospital, they loved square dancing and bowling. Millie enjoyed many activities including watching the New York Mets and UCONN basketball and she loved cross country travel with her sister and brother-in-law. They enjoyed playing pinochle with friends and family, antiquing, and were enthusiastic fans of horse racing. She absolutely loved spending time with her sister Nancy. Chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and chocolate milkshakes were favorites.
Millie was an independent, kind and generous soul, always putting others' needs before her own. Her love and compassion extended to all those who knew her, and she will be remembered for her infectious smile and warm personality.
