Oklahoma City resident Mildred Ann Conway passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025 in Oklahoma City at the age of 75. Mildred was born on March 10, 1950 in Shawnee, OK to Harry and Fannie Mae (Gualding) Talton.
Mildred is survived by her sons Anthony Conway, Terry Conway and Patrick Conway; daughter Cody Conway; grandchildren Fanny Linden, Cassandra Scarlette, Antwone Adams, Kodi White, Glorie Stanfield, Stephon Daniels, Seymour Adams and Starriah Beshear; a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; brother Tony Talton and many other family and friends.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents Harry Talton and Fannie Mae (Gaulding) Talton; brother Joe Cephas Brannon; sisters Betty Lou Brannon, Ella Ruth Black, Verlene Brannon, Elanor Talton, Beatrice Talton; husband Travis Kennedy; ex-husband Jerry Conway; daughter Fannie Mae Conway and granddaughter Clarrissa Jones.
Mildred was a loving and caring woman who also possessed a stern side when needed. She was the life of the party and loved old school music. She enjoyed spending time at the casino. Overall she was a woman that was loved by all that knew her.
Those serving as casket bearers will be Antwone Adams, Isaac Brannon Jr., Byron Talton, Jason Talton, Rico Brannon and Michael Standfield. Flower girls will be Hattie Talton, Gloria Standfield, Fanny Linden, Diana Brannon, Carolyn Bennett, Verdonna Brannon and Stephanie Talton.
Viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 and from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, OK with Pastor Kimberly Colter, Rev. Benita Gillespie and Rev. Bobby Ray Curry officiating. Interment will follow at Earlsboro Cemetery.
