Mildred Evans Obituary

Mildred "Millie" Pricilla Evans, 97, of Springdale, passed away Sunday, Aug. 10, 2025, in Harmar Village. She was born March 15, 1928, in Brinkerton, to her parents, the late Charles and Anna Ballik Evans. Mildred was a devoted Catholic parishioner of St. Alphonsus Church in Springdale for many years. Ms. Evans was an avid skier, traveling around the United States as well as Europe with three different ski clubs. When not on the slopes, she enjoyed talking to people and was loved by all who knew her. A special thanks to Harmar Village and hospice for their great care. Millie is survived by her brother, Charles Evans; nephew, Ricky (Jeanne) Evans; and niece, Ashley Evans. Besides her parents, Millie was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Evans; and a nephew, Ronald Evans. Visitation will be private at her request. Entombment will follow in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. www.jarviefuneralhome.com
