Mildred L. Forry, a beloved sister, and friend, gracefully departed this world on March 5, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on November 5, 1942, in Sinking Spring, she brought light and warmth to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Mildred was a proud graduate of Bethel High School, where she laid the foundation for a lifelong passion for learning and community service. Her career at the Reading Postal Office enriched not only her life but also the lives of countless others she encountered during her years of dedicated service. A devoted cat lover, Mildred always had a soft spot in her heart for her feline companions.

One of Mildred’s greatest sources of pride came from her time as a United States Navy Veteran, where she served as a Hospital Corpsman working as an X-Ray Technician. Her commitment to serving her country reflected her strong character and instilled a sense of duty that resonated deeply throughout her life. After her military service, she remained proud of her service and was an active member of the Berks County Women Veterans Association.

Mildred’s legacy extends beyond her accomplishments; it is woven into the lives of her siblings, Richard Forry, husband of Christine, and Pearl Boone, wife of the late Donald Boone; Brother-in-law, Richard Otto. Together, they shared countless memories, forged enduring bonds, and supported one another through life's ebbs and flows.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Alvin J. and Anna (Bordner) Forry, and sister. Gloria Otto, who undoubtedly shaped the remarkable woman she became. Their love and guidance remained a beacon of strength throughout her years.

Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

The essence of Mildred L. Forry will remain with us—a testament to her spirit, her dedication, and her unwavering love for family and friends. Though she has left this earthly realm, her memory will forever live on in our hearts, a gentle reminder of a life lived with purpose, honor, and grace.
