Anna M. Fornwalt, a beloved figure in her community, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026, at the age of 88 in Linden Village, Lebanon, PA. Born on January 29, 1938, in Dudley, PA, Anna dedicated her life to caring for others, a trait highlighted in her esteemed career as an Activities Coordinator at County Berks Berks Heim Nursing Home and Myerstown E.C.C. for over 17 years. She relished every moment spent with her clients and colleagues, creating lasting memories and meaningful connections.

Anna's warmth and loving spirit extended far beyond her professional life. She was known for her caring personality, as well as her passions for reading and solving crossword puzzles. Most importantly, she cherished the time spent with her family, which brought her immense joy and fulfillment.

She leaves behind a devoted family that includes her 6 children, Vicky M. Souders, her sons Douglas D., husband of Darlene, Charles M., husband of Cindi, and Barry D., husband of Donna. Anna, Valerie A. Bashore, wife of Todd, and Annieta L. Bower, wife of Craig. Her legacy continues through her 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, who will fondly remember her loving presence. Additionally, she is survived by her sister Urcille Grove.

Anna was preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband Donald Fornwalt her parents, the late John McCue and Hazel (Hess), and her 3 sisters Jean, Elli and Terry.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the viewing on February 10, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Kirkhoff Funeral Home located at 206 North Main Street, Bernville, PA. Burial will take place in the Little Swatara Church of the Brethren Cemetery at the convivence of the family.

Anna M. Fornwalt's life was a testament to love, care, and devotion, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and all whose lives she touched.
