Mildred Othelia Head passed away on September 5, 2025, in Panhandle, Texas.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Panhandle,Texas. Burial will follow at Panhandle Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.
Mildred was born on September 3, 1936, in Windy Valley, Texas to Jhrome Bowling and Noval Guston. She married Bobby Dane Head on March 9, 1956, in Memphis, Texas. Mildred and Bobby owned and operated the Panther Den.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby Head; daughter, Regina Perry; granddaughter, Nancy Perry; brother, Carson Bowling; sister, Matteline Longley; and several great grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Mickey Head and wife Debbie of Amarillo, D. Bob Head and wife Sylvia of Woodward, Oklahoma; daughter, Rejohna Hail of Panhandle; brother, Greg Bowling of Canadian, Texas; sister, Gail Duke of Fate, Texas; thirteen grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren.
