Mildred Knott Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Pauline Knott, age 91, will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 2 p.m. in the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Oliver’s Chapel Cemetery. Her celebration of life will be officiated by Bro. Paul Rodifer. Visitation with the family will be on Monday from 11 a.m. until service time.
Mrs. Knott, a homemaker, was born in Gibson County on June 24, 1932, and passed away at her residence on November 11, 2023.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Louise Powell Foren; her husband of 68 years, Harlie Frank (“Toy”) Knott; three brothers, Charles Foren, Wade Foren, and Bill Foren; and one sister, Evelyn Dowland.
She is survived by one son, Bennett (Nancy) Knott; four daughters, Yolanda (Mike) Woods, Vickie (George) Roberts, Robin (Robert) Sides, and Noel (Steve) Hughes; eight grandchildren, Amy (Towanga) Dyson, Anthony Roberts, Joshua (Allison) Hatchett, Emily Hughes, Lauren (Matthew) McClanahan, Haley Hughes, Abby (Colby) Spain, and Amanda Knott; two great-grandchildren, Lane Goff and Skylar Maza; and two great-great-grandchildren, Rosalyn Goff and Lily Maza.
