Mildred Lee Ladenburger passed away peacefully at the age of 93, surrounded by her loving family and friends at her granddaughter's home.

Mildred was married to her devoted husband, Don, for nearly 70 wonderful years. She worked as a sale clerk for Fanny Farmer and was a dedicated and loving childcare provider to both Paige and Allie.

She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Jeffersontown, where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school. She also belonged to the Women's Missionary Union (WMU). Later in life, she became a member of Hurstbourne Baptist Church. Mildred was a Girl Scout troop leader and a proud member of the Red Hat Society and Bobby Soxers. Above all, she was a devout Christian.Mildred cherished traveling with her husband and friends, with favorite destinations including Dollywood, Opryland, and Callaway Gardens. In addition to traveling, her favorite hobby was sewing, she loved to do this with her dearest Aunt Mary.

She is survived by her four daughters: Donna-Lee Killion (Brad), Teri Smith (Jerry), Lisa Little (Mike), and Heidi Eades (Tommy); nine grandchildren: Chad Killion, Lauren Scarborough (Greg), Seth Killion, Jena Waldman (Bobby), Chris Little (Stephanie), Laurisa York (Jeremy), Matthew Little (Carolyn), Paige Coffey (Bill), and Brice Eades (Lauren); and ten great-grandchildren.

Mildred reunited with her beloved husband and their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 16, 2025.

Funeral Service will take place at 11am on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville KY. 40205. Visitation will be Friday from 9am-11am at Highlands Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery immediately after the service.
