Mildred Liles Obituary
Ms. Liles was born on February 24, 1923 in Brooklyn, NY to her parents, Norman and Nellie Hansen. She was a bookkeeper for a construction company and a records specialist. She did bookkeeping first and then in her later years was the records specialist for the Long Island chapter of the Arthritis Foundation.
Ms. Liles was referred to as an angel. She never met a stranger and would always tell everyone "Be careful out there."
Ms. Liles is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Harold Norman and Susan Liles of Patchogue, NY; her son, Kevin Robert Liles of Massapequa, NY; daughter and son-in-law, Ellen Mildred and Herbert Mundt of Holly Springs, NC; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold O.; her brother, Milton Hansen; and granddaughter, Claire Marie Mundt.
Ms. Liles will be buried at Pinelawn Memorial Gardens, Lyndhurst, NY. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Arthritis Foundation.
