Mildred A Marcelle

Mildred Lytch Marcelle passed on March 20, 2023. She was a renaissance woman who graduated from Brooklyn College while raising three small children. She began her career at the Horace Green Center in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn in New York City within two years after her graduation from college. The center is now known as the Bushwick Improvement Society Daycare Center and became the model daycare center for all Brooklyn daycare centers under Ms. Marcelle's directorship that ended with her retirement in 2006. Mildred also served as a good and faithful servant at the United Methodist Church on Freeport, Long Island. Her home going service will be Friday, March 31, 2023 at Inglesby and Sons Funeral Home from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Her entombment will be at the Berlin Cemetery Mausoleum directly after leaving the funeral home.
