Funeral services for Mildred Annette Owen, age 89, of Kilbourne, Louisiana, will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Kilbourne Baptist Church in Kilbourne, Louisiana, with Rev. Jimbo Herring and Rev. Eddie Dupre officiating. Interment will be in the Kilbourne Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Saturday from 12PM – 2PM at Kilbourne Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wesley Owen; parents, Willie and Lucille Campbell; three brothers, James Shirley Campbell, Willie Clifford Campbell, and Wayne Campbell; two sisters, Brandy Evelyn Campbell Rackham and Sybil Faye Campbell Williams.
Mildred is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Neal Gates of Oak Grove, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, David and Connie Owen of Kilbourne, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Bennie Taylor of Kilbourne, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, James and Kathy Owen of Bastrop, Louisiana; 12 grandchildren, Cory Gates(Robin), Telisha Martin (Stacy), Chris Owen (Sarah), Tiffanie Butler, Krystal Owen, Jessica Roberts, Lindsay Jordan (James), Joshua Owen (Taylor), Zachary Owen (Ashley), Becca Owen, Erin Owen, and Amelia Owen; 17 great grandchildren, Sydnie Lofton (Beaux), Emily Gates, Colby Harper, Cailyn Marble (Joseph), Jackson Coleman, Hayden Owen, Grant Owen, Noah Owen, Madison Butler, Kaley Butler, Owen Layton, Jeanne Marie Owen, Brycen Owen, Kamora Glass, Gerald Glass Jr., Dawson Jordon, and Katlyn Grace Jordan; two great great-grandchildren, Riley Marble and Avery Lofton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other friends; special friend, Charles Creech of Kilbourne, Louisiana.
Pallbearers will be Joe Marble, Jack Coleman, Colby Harper, Joshua Owen, Zach Owen, and Owen Layton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Beaux Lofton, Dawson Jordon, Brycen Owen, Hayden Owen, Grant Owen, and Noah Owen.
