Born Mildred May Hinkle, April 18, 1926 in Martins Ferry, Ohio. The long time resident of Sacramento, CA died peacefully surrounded by her family on February 13, 2006. She is survived by her husband of 59 years William Parker, her sister Betty Smith of Martins Ferry, her children Barbara Leach and Brenda Parker of Carmichael, CA and Grant Parker of Galt, CA as well as five grandchildren and lifelong best friends Vivian Antosz and Mary Jane McGranahan both also of Martins Ferry. Midge and Bill were both alumni of the Martins Ferry High School class of 1944. Midge spent her entire life taking care of her husband, children and home. She was thought of as “Mom” or “Grandma” by many of her neighbors and her children’s spouses and friends who all loved her and will miss her greatly.
