Mildred Nora Parson

Mildred Parson, of Villa Rica, was born on June 7, 1934, and passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of those who knew her best.

Mildred lived a life full of warmth, creativity, and connection. She found great joy in traveling and exploring new places, always eager to experience the beauty the world had to offer. She had a special talent for crafting, creating meaningful and beautiful pieces that will be cherished by her loved ones for years to come.

Above all, Mildred treasured the time she spent with her family and friends. Her home was often filled with laughter, stories, and the comfort of togetherness. She had a kind heart, a gentle spirit, and a way of making everyone feel welcome and loved.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Hubert Parson, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, devotion, and cherished memories.

She is survived by her son, Ricky Parson and his wife, Tina Parson; her daughter, Reita Gaston and her husband, Kenneth Gaston; her grandchildren, Andrew Gaston, Jessica Perrien, and Jenni Teague; and her great-grandchildren, Briley Gaston, Lucy Perrien, Sarah Grace Perrien, Ben Martin, and Jonas Teague.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, March 30, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A funeral service will follow in the Sam Clark Chapel at 4:00 PM with Rev. Frankie Southerland and Rev Dwayne Hewett officiating. Mildred will be laid to rest at Paulding Memorial Gardens in a private ceremony.
