Mildred Louise Phillips, 81, of Danville, Alabama passed away Friday, January 2, 2026, at her residence. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Born on June 1, 1944, to Hubert and Nellie Tidwell Hammon, Mildred enjoyed gardening, bird watching, fishing, and spending time with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Duran Phillips; daughter, Brenda (Mark) Goad; grandchildren, Mark (Robbie) Goad Jr. and Joanna Goad; great-grandchildren, Carter Davis; sister-in-law, Mary Hammon; brother, Thomas (Shirley) Hammon; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Nellie Hammon; brother, James Hammon.
