Mildred Rantanen Obituary
Union Township - Mildred K. Rantanen (nee Koval), Age 96. Passed May 8, 2024. Devoted Wife of the late Robert J. (2011) of 59 years. Daughter of the late Vasil and Agnes (Hyduk) Koval. Sister of the late Jon Koval and Agnes (Karl) Blank. Loving sister in law of Ronald (Penny) Rantanen and Thomas (Bonnie) Rantanen. Cherished aunt of Carrie Ann, Mark and Beth as well as many grand nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Friday, May 17th, 2024, from 9:30am until 10:30am at the Moore Family Funeral Home, 225 Spring St. Batavia, OH 45103. We will then process to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 140 N 6th St., Batavia, OH 45103 for the Mass of the Christian Burial, starting at 11am. Interment will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery in Ashtabula, Ohio the days following the Mass.
In Lieu of flowers remembrances may be directed to the Ashtabula Maritime and Surface Transportation Museum 1071 Walnut Blvd., P.O. Box 1546 Ashtabula, Ohio 44004. AM&STM (ashtabulamaritime.org)
