Mildred Rice Obituary
Mildred Ann Rice, age 83, passed away at Josie Harper House Residence in Omaha on February 22, 2026.
She was born on November 5, 1942 to the late James and Irene (Schwartz) Wilson in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Mildred was a football fan and loved the Vikings. She enjoyed staying home, baking sweets, and taking care of her kids.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jon Rice; son, Jon Rice II; and granddaughter, Jena Rice.
Mildred is survived by son, Jeff (Tracy) Rice; daughters, JoEllen (Jerry) Wills and Jennifer (Daniel) Brentlinger; son, Jarrod (Dawn) Rice; daughter-in-law, Julie Rice; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00pm at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, February 28, 2026. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Memorials can be directed to El Bethel Assembly of God.
