She was born in Brecknock Township, daughter of the late Frank Lesher and Anna Mary (Kiefer) Kring and was the wife of the late Harold Shank, who passed away in 2003.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Adamstown, where she sang in the choir. She also sang in The Ephrata Cloister Choir. She adored her cats and enjoyed gardening.
Mildred is survived by 2 brothers, Harold Kring, Carl Kring, husband of Judy.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Gress.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, 11:00 AM at the Bowmansville Union Cemetery, Narvon, with Pastor Sandra Gideon officiating.
Arrangements by Stradling Funeral Homes, Inc., Akron/Ephrata.
