A devoted woman of faith, Mildred's adult Christian journey began as a member of New Mount Vernon Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Cleve Minter was the Pastor. Mildred was a dedicated member for over 30 years. She later joined Miracle Center Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Shelly Harmon. Mildred was a woman of boundless love and warmth, always opening her heart and home to those around her. Mildred had a passion for cooking, and her kitchen was a place where family and friends gathered to share not just meals, but cherished memories. A generous soul, Mildred found joy in helping others, whether through acts of kindness or lending a listening ear. Mildred's love for travel allowed her to explore the world and embrace new experiences with the Birthday Club. Together they traveled to places such as the Bahamas, Jamaica, New York, Dominican Republic, Mexico just to name a few.
