Mildred Myers Smith, 94, of Holland PA, formerly of Langhorne passed away on April 24, 2025. Mildred was the beloved wife of the deceased Richard J. Smith for 70 years. Loving mother of Diane Walter (Frank), Deborah Zimmer (Barry) and Darleen Smith. Grandmother of David (Tara), Brian (Kristen), Kevin (Jen), Ashley (Jamie), Elizabeth (AJ) and Tracy. Great grandmother of Brent, Blake, Cianna, Trace, Quinn, Hadley, Ashton and Trey. Mildred was the youngest of 6 children, all deceased.
Mildred was a proud graduate of Langhorne High School where she was a cheerleader and bugle player in the Jesse W. Sobe Post 148 Drum and Bugle Corps. Later she was a talented homemaker and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and needlework. Her creations won numerous awards at the Middletown Grange Fair.
In addition to enjoying her home, she also relished watching the Eagles and Phillies with Richard, attending her grandchildren's sporting events and going for long drives with Richard in his Ford pick-up truck.
Relatives and friends are invited to Mildred's Life Celebration on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 beginning at 11:30am at Dunn Givnish Funeral Home, 378 South Bellevue Avenue, Langhorne, PA 19047. Her Memorial Service will follow at 12:30pm.
Mildred's graveside service and inurnment will begin promptly at 2:00pm at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mildred's memory may be made to St. James Episcopal Church, 330 South Bellevue Avenue, Langhorne, PA 19047 (https://www.stjameslanghorne.org/).
