Janet Theresa Stone

Janet T. Stone, 88, of Hatboro, PA, died peacefully on February 28, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Philadelphia on October 28, 1937, to Harry A. Fuges Jr. and Elizabeth "Elsie" Fuges, nee Schneider.

Janet graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls, Class of 1955. After high school she met and married Thomas J. Stone on October 4, 1957. They were married for 39 years at the time of his death in 1997.

In addition to her parents, Harry and Elizabeth and husband Thomas, Janet was pre-deceased by her sister Elizabeth Bechtel, brothers Harry Fuges, James Fuges, John Fuges, Charles Fuges, Robert Fuges, and daughter Karen Anspach, married to the late Kurt Anspach.

Janet was survived by sister Dolores Hughes of Langhorne PA, son Thomas and his wife Sandra of Effort PA, daughter Sharon Stone of Hatboro PA, daughter Susan Staniskis and husband Leonard of Greenfield IN, and daughter Kimberley Mullen and husband Gerard, of Waterford NJ.

Janet was blessed with 12 grandchildren-Jeffrey Mullen, Jonathan Anspach, Kristen McCloskey, Jennifer Ansbach, Danielle Lisnyj, Melissa Anspach, Patrick Mullen, Thomas Staniskis, Janine Williams, Stephanie Stone, Thomas Stone Jr. and Jamie Davies. She also was a loving "GiGi to 18 great-grandbabies ranging in age from 4 months to 18 years, plus many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to Janet's Life Celebration on Friday, March 6, 2025 from 10:00-11:30am at Dunn-Givnish Funeral Home, 378 South Bellevue Avenue, Langhorne, PA 19047. Her Funeral Service will follow at 11:30am.

Inurnment at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.
