James Guevarra

James Guevarra passed away unexpectedly on February 21, 2026, at 54 years old. This sudden loss leaves his family and friends devastated and heartbroken.

James was born on July 25, 1971, in Jamaica, Queens, New York City, to Venancio and Corazon Guevarra.

On October 26, 1994, he married the love of his life, Mico. They built a life together centered around love, hard work, and their children. The thing James was most proud of - more than any degree or accomplishment - was being a dad. He welcomed Dean in 1995, Reese in 1999, and Jeter in 2019. His children were his world. Everything he did, he did for them.

He is survived by his wife Mico; his children Dean, Reese, and Jeter; his mother, Corazon; his brother Mark, and his family, Regi, Vincent, Catherine, and Jack; his brother in law, Francis Roldan, and his family, Alissa, Maya, and Emilie, his mother-in-law, Perla and his best friends, Lou Gomez, Willie Reyes, Cavin Flores, and Joe Flores - along with countless relatives and friends who loved him deeply.

James earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry in 1993 and later received his Medical Doctor Degree in 1998. He worked hard for everything he achieved, but he never defined himself by titles.

He was the guy who took on the house projects no one else wanted to touch. He loved traveling, hiking, lifting weights, snowboarding, coaching, and eating. He was always moving, always doing something, always showing up. If you needed help or support, he was there.

He was a husband, a father, a son, a brother, an uncle, a cousin, a coach, and a best friend. Most of all, an exceptional person.

We will miss his smile, love, kindness, guidance, presence, and the way he made us feel safe. We will carry him with us forever.

Family and friends are invited to James' Life Celebration on Monday, March 2, 2026 from 6:00-8:00pm at Dunn-Givnish Funeral Home, 378 South Bellevue Avenue, Langhorne, PA 19047 and again on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 from 9:30-11:30am at Beck-Givnish Funeral Home, 7400 New Falls Road, Levittown, PA 19055. His Funeral Service will follow at 11:30am.
