Jeanne Clark, age 78, of Browns Mills, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 3, 2025. She was born on June 22, 1947, in Philadelphia to the late John and Frances Jeanette (Jones) Bakeoven.
Jeanne dedicated her life to her family, spending her early years raising six sons with her loving husband, Robert E. Clark. Robert, who affectionately called her his "sweetheart" and "Jeanne Beanie" until the very end, met Jeanne at a roller rink in Penndel, PA, when they were teenagers. Their love story began there, with Friday night dates, and they married a few years later. Together, they shared an unbreakable bond, being soulmates and best friends for 60 wonderful years.
Jeanne's faith was central to her life. A graduate of Shadyrest Bible College, she was a devout Christian and church-going woman who held her love for the Lord close to her heart. Jeanne was a passionate Philadelphia Eagles (season ticket holder since 1995!) and Phillies fan, always cheering loudly for her teams. She had a deep love for collecting vintage dolls and Barbies, musicals, and her home was filled with the sounds of Elvis, Shirley Temple, Lawrence Welk, and the Beach Boys. Christmas was her favorite time of the year, and she had a special talent for making the house smell just like the season-warm and inviting.
Jeanne's love for the simple pleasures of life was evident in everything she did. She cherished quiet moments watching the snow fall gently, transforming the world outside into a winter wonderland. Her coffee, strong and black with a couple of packs of sugar, was a staple of her morning routine. She was kind, selfless, and always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. Her heart was as vast as her love for her family, friends, and the animals she cared for.
Jeanne's fur babies were her joy, particularly her cat, Lucky, who was a constant companion until the very end. She also took great pride in her garden, where azaleas, hydrangeas, and, most of all, her cherished pink roses bloomed year after year.
Jeanne is survived by her devoted husband, Robert; her six sons – Robert, Jr. (Jennifer), John, Jimmy (Michelle), Joseph (Jennifer Parker-Lynch), Joshua (Miranda) and Jeffrey (Megan); 13 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; her sisters Janet Cahoon and Joyce Reynolds, and a host of friends and extended family who will miss her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love.
Family and friends are invited to Jeanne's Life Celebration on Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 6:00-9:00pm and again on Friday, October 10, 2025 from 11:00am-1:00pm at Dunn-Givnish Funeral Home, 378 South Bellevue Avenue, Langhorne, PA 19047. Her Funeral Service will follow at 1:00pm.
Interment at Rosedale Memorial Park, Bensalem.
She gave of herself to everyone she met, and her love and light will continue to guide us.
