Patrick McCaffrey

Patrick McCaffrey of Bristol, PA passed away on September 1, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on May 23, 1937, in Harlem, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Lawless) McCaffrey.

Patrick was the devoted husband of Helen (Kane) McCaffrey, and together they shared a lifetime of love and family. He was the proud father of Brian McCaffrey, Bonnie (Paul) Leck, Patrick (Castonia) McCaffrey, Patricia (Jennifer) McCaffrey, and Margaret (Wayne) Erhard. He was predeceased by his beloved son, Kevin McCaffrey. Patrick also leaves behind his sister-in-law, Barbara Buddy.

He was a cherished grandfather to Brandilee, Kimberly, Daymond Jr., Cody, Emileigh (fiancé Ian), Keira, Tiffany (Kevin), Jessica, Brianna, and Kaitlyn, and a great-grandfather to Kayla, Gabriel, Dominic, Christiano, Giana, and Kevin (KJ). He will also be fondly remembered for his special bond with his pet bird, Gracie, and his late dog, Bandit.

A veteran of the United States Air Force, Patrick served his country with honor, receiving training in Special Forces both at home and in Ireland. He was also specially trained in karate and carried that discipline and strength throughout his life.

Patrick loved the simple joys of life-spending time at the lake and in the Poconos, visiting Atlantic City, sitting in the sun, taking long walks, and enjoying the beauty of nature. His deep love for animals and the outdoors was evident to all who knew him.

Services for Patrick are private; entrusted to the care of Dunn-Givnish Funeral Home, Langhorne.

He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and all who had the privilege to know him.
