Mildred "Millie" WALL

1918 - 2021

Age 102 of St. Anthony Village Passed away with family by her side on Thursday, June 10, 2021. Survived by her loving sons, Charles Wall, James Wall, Richard Wall, and William Wall; daughters-in-law, Penny, Sharon, Christine, and Gina; Grandchildren, Lisa (Jim), Aaron, Rachel (Hector), Eric, Ashley, Jeffrey, Joey, Jordan, and Brady; great grand children, Nicholas, Gavin, Sophia, Lydia, Alaina, Nathan, Liliana, and Isaac. Preceded in death by parents, Ignatius and Margaret Lemm (Weber), brother Homer (Bernice), sister Carolyn (Edwin), husband Lawrence, and son Curtis. Millie was born on July 4, 1918 in Melrose, Minn. She graduated from Melrose High School in 1935. Millie married Lawrence Wall in 1945 and they were married for 43 years until he passed away in 1988. Millie worked for Honeywell and later retired with the company. Millie was a resident of St. Anthony for 60 years and was a dedicated member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She enjoyed Minnesota sports, knitting, going to church, spending time with family and friends, and the occasional Screwdriver with a splash of cranberry juice. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 24 from 4-8 p.m., with a vigil prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at Washburn-McReavy Hillside Chapel located at 2610 19th Ave NE in Minneapolis. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 25 at her beloved St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church located at 2739 NE Stinson Parkway in St. Anthony with visitation starting at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. A lunch will follow. Private interment at Hillside Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Millie's honor to the Minnesota Vikings Foundation or St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
