A private burial service for the immediate family of Mrs. Mildred Bonita Williams, who passed away on April 8, 2025, will be scheduled at a later date.
Mildred Bonita Mitchell-Williams was born on July 9, 1925, in Belton, Texas and was one of six children of Flenoy and Kitty Clydie Mitchell. She graduated from Madam C.J. Walker Beauty College in Austin, Texas. Mildred married John Fleming Williams on March 14, 1943. She was a member of Griffin Chapel A.M.E. Church and served as pianist for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Flenoy and Kitty Mitchell; brothers, Wilfred Mitchell, Clyde Mitchell and Edward Mitchell; sister, Mary V. Burgess; husband, John F. Williams; and sons, Larry Williams, Bruce Williams and Daughter-In-Law Debbie Williams.
She is survived by her sister, Clara Hunt (Pflugerville, Texas); seven sons, John Williams, Jr. (Plano, Texas), Ethan Williams (Pflugerville, Texas), Michael Williams (Oak Leaf, Texas), Joel Williams (Temple, Texas), Roland Williams (Temple, Texas), Ranzey Williams (Lockhart, Texas) and Enick Williams (Lago Vista, Texas); three daughters, Sharon Stein (Clinton, Mississippi), Clydia Bowser (Houston, Texas) and Bonita Whittington (El Paso, Texas). She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
