Mildred Harris Wolfe, 91, of Morristown went to be with The Lord on Monday, June 5, 2023, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law. She was the oldest member of Midtown Missionary Baptist Church where she faithfully attended and served for over thirty years as the teacher of The Young Ladies’ Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Carl E. Wolfe; parents, Campbell and Louise Harris; daughter, Rose Marie Wolfe; sons, Michael Jesse Wolfe and Terry Campbell Wolfe; brother, Rev. Harris B. (Rosie) Harris; niece, Elizabeth Harris; brother-in-law, Wilkie Johns; and other special family members. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Carlos and Debra Wolfe; grandchildren, Candace and Josh Bible, Steffanee and Jason Coffey, and Derrek and Chasity Wolfe; great-grandchildren, Maddox and Emerson Bible, Abbigale and Elijah Coffey, and Liam, Gavin, and Cambryn Wolfe; sister, Alice Johns; niece, Joyce (Doug) Profitt; nephews, Rev. Ronald (Neva) Harris, Jerry and Charles Johns; and a host of nieces, nephews, and family members. Special thanks to the wonderful nurses and staff of Gentiva Hospice as well as Dr. Michael Tan. Services will be held Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Thankful Missionary Baptist Church (3956 Maple Valley Road, Morristown, TN 37813) from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. with services to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. David Alder, Rev. Roger Porter, and Rev. Jason Coffey officiating. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, June 9, 2023, at Jarnagin Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Alder and Rev. Darrell Alder officiating.
