Mildred Young Obituary
Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her late husband of 49 years Melvin Wayne Young of Ashland City, her sons Robert "Bobby" Lamb of Bon Aqua and Bruce Wayne Lamb of Ashland City, her parents Jesse Marlin Myatt & Carrie L. Myatt of Bon Aqua, her brothers Carl Myatt and Delmer Myatt of Dickson County.
She is survived by her sister Linda F. Yates of Kentucky, step children Toni Tomlin of Ashland City, Terrie Barnes (Randy) of Knoxville, & Tommy Young of Ashland City. She leaves behind 10 grandchildren: Jason Barnes, Jaime Smith (David), Alex Tomlin, Amber Harris (Brandon), Tayler Scarbrough (Billy), Josh Barnes (Lyndsey), Alicia Martin (Dan), Jeremy Barnes (Tracey), Codi Morris (James) Matt Lamb (Brittany), Justin Lamb (Fiancé Danielle), as well as numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Gathering for Mrs. Young will be held from 11 AM - 3 PM, Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Boyd Funeral Home, 101 Elizabeth Street, Ashland City, TN 37015. Services will be officiated by Pastor Mark Profitt of First Baptist Church of Bon Aqua.
