BLISSFIELD – Miles R. Cox, age 87, of Blissfield, passed away peacefully at his residence, on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, under the loving care of Hospice of Lenawee, surrounded by his family. He was born in Detroit on January 4, 1938, to the late Floyd G. and Thelma M. (Teall) Cox. After graduating high school, Miles entered the United States Army and served his country from 1961 until 1963. On August 7, 1965, he married Joan B. Eisenmann in Whiteford Twp., and she survives. Miles worked as a journeyman carpenter until his retirement.

In his free time, Miles enjoyed woodworking, tending to his yard, and antique tractor shows with his twin brother.
