Miles Derrick Obituary

Born September 19, 1977, Miles lived life full throttle - whether he was cheering on the Steelers (even when it hurt), blasting Tool or System of a Down, or taking his motorcycle for "just a quick ride" that somehow lasted all day.
He leaves behind his four favorite humans - Rusti, Jade, Sage, and Zoe - who will forever miss his jokes, his playlists, and his knack for turning any moment into a laugh.
He's now reunited with his mother, Ellen Derrick, and his brother, Lyndon Derrick - hopefully somewhere with loud music, open roads, and no traffic laws.
In true Miles fashion, he'd probably say, "Don't be sad - just turn up the music, crack a smile, and keep it in gear."
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025 at 12:00pm at Southern Utah Mortuary. A viewing will be held prior to the service for family members at 11:00 am. Final arrangements are under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. Online condolences can be sent at www.mortuary.org.
