We loved seeing him and his wife when camping at Burson. They would always have a smile on their faces and would help when in need. He even showed my husband how to winterize our camper for the first time. He will be greatly missed! Love and prayers for all the family.

So deeply saddened to hear of Mr Williams'passing. He was always such a familiar face at the beginning of each camping season at HMSP. I first met him while I was working at Claytor Lake, before I knew he was he figured out that my brother was working at HMSP. Then when I later transferred to HMSP again he welcomed me. My each of you cherish the memories of him during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers for each of you.

We had just purchased a camper, and I did not have a clue as to how to back it into a camping spot. Millard was very patient with me. After what seemed like more tries than I have fingers and toes, the camper was finally parked. After a brief discussion, we both discovered we were retired railroaders. Millard retiring from N&S and me from CSX. We had several wonderful discussions over the years at that campground. He will be missed.

I'll not ever forget Millard & Virginia. We always looked for them & then just Millard later on when we camped. They came by in July to our site one year & had birthday cake with us. And I remember the big tree falling on their camper. We will definitely miss Millard now. Prayers for the family.

I am so sorry for the loss of your dad and granddad. He was a special man to me, too. Mr. Millard and Miss Virginia took me under their wings when I started at Camp Burson. We made so many memories as they worked to be the best host. I am so blessed to be part of your family. He will be missed by many but never forgotten. Carry on with your lives and make him proud. May God bless you all. Love you all.
