Millicent M. Wilder

Oakfield - Millicent M. Wilder, age 93, of Oakfield, died Monday, December 8, 2025 after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Murray, NY on March 26, 1932 a daughter of the late Clifford and Eva Unger.

Her husband, William P. Wilder died in 1992.

Millicent was a waitress for years and retired from driving school bus for several years. Millie, as she was called by most everyone, loved everything about the country. She loved the birds and all four legged creatures. She loved her gardening and she had many plants to prove it. She loved her kids, marveled over her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons, Marc Wilder and Bill (Betty) Wilder, both of Oakfield; a sister, Judy Hall of Gasport; three grandchildren, Sarah Pritchard, Josh Wilder and Charles Wilder and several great-grandchildren.

She is the sister of the late Milton P. Unger.

There are no prior calling hours. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. She will be laid to rest in St. Cecilia's Cemetery. Memorials in Millie's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to a disabled veterans organization.
