Audrey Arlene Potter of Batavia, age of 98, a cherished mother, sister, and friend, who left this world on February 15, 2026.
Audrey was born on September 22, 1927, in Akron, New York, a daughter of the late Cleo and Helen (Garrison) Cain.
She devoted herself to her family, gracefully fulfilling the role of a loving homemaker. She enjoyed deep studies into genealogy. She nurtured her children and grandchildren with unconditional love and unwavering support. Her heart found joy in the laughter and the bonds shared with her beloved family.
Audrey is survived by her children, Mark (L. Bonnie) Abrams of Alabama, Maureen Pennington of Texas, Marshall Neale (Barbara) Abrams of Batavia, NY, Maurice (Martha) Abrams of Sodus, NY, and Marcia (Brian) Dudley of Texarkana, TX; Brother, Gary “Butch” Cain of Pembroke; sister, Gayle Cain of Oakfield, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In death Audrey is reunited with her husband Earl Potter; daughter, Cindi Cummings; parents, Cleo Cain and Helen Cain; siblings, Richard Cain, Cleo Cain, Alvin Cain, and Gaye Bolton; daughter in law, Bonnie Abrams
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Ave., Oakfield. There are no services at this time.
In this time of loss, may we remember Audrey with smiles rather than tears, holding fast to the precious memories that she gifted us. Her light will continue to shine brightly in our hearts.
