Doris Waite Obituary
Doris Waite, of Oakfield, passed away on February 17, 2026 at United Memorial Medical Center, Batavia.
Doris, known for her kindness and radiant smile, was a nurturing presence, always ready with a camera in hand, capturing the precious moments of life and filling her home with laughter and love. Doris was an archivist of memories, diligently compiling over 500 photo albums that recount the stories of her life, illustrating the joy she found in her family and the world around her. She will always be remembered for her compassionate heart and the way she made others feel valued and special.
A devoted mother, Doris is survived by her loving daughter, Shelly (Roy Jr.) Muntz, and her sons, Gerard Waite and Dale Waite. She also leaves behind her adored grandchildren: Roy Muntz III, Holly Lindsey, Alan Muntz, Brandon Waite, Robert Muntz, Christopher Waite, Ashley Waite, Jessica Waite, and 5 great grandchildren. Each of them will carry forward her spirit, remembering her warmth and the countless moments she cherished, as they find solace in the legacy of love she created.
In death Doris is reunited with her parents, Edward and Anna Robideau; son, Brett Waite; grandson, Jeffrey Muntz; siblings, Diana Raffel and Don Robideau.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Ave., Oakfield, NY. There are no services at this time.
